- Is there a free plan?
- Yes. The free plan includes one site on a hosted.md subdomain, with limited storage and "Powered by hosted.md" branding. It's a great way to get started and explore the platform.
- Can I use my own domain?
- Yes, all paid plans support custom domains. Once you upgrade, you can connect your domain and remove hosted.md branding.
- What counts as a site?
- Each subscription includes one site. A site can contain multiple pages and folders, but each domain or subdomain you publish to is treated as a separate site.
- How does storage work on hosted.md?
- Storage only applies to assets you upload, like images, videos, audio files, PDFs, and other downloads. It does not count your markdown pages, your generated site HTML, or any files that come from your selected theme (like stylesheets, fonts, or theme images).
- What if I need more storage space?
- If you find yourself running out of storage, don't worry. You don't need to upgrade your entire plan just to get more space, we're happy to help. Just get in touch and let us know what you need.
- Can I upgrade or downgrade my plan?
- Yes. You can change plans at any time through your account with changes applying immediately.
- What happens if I cancel?
- Your site won't be deleted. If you're on a paid plan and cancel, your account will revert to the free tier, and any custom domains will be disabled.
- Do you offer yearly billing?
- Currently no, we do not. We may look to add them if there is enough interest! Let us know if you'd like to see this.
- What payment methods do you accept?
- All payments are handled securely by Paddle. You can pay using all major credit and debit cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and local payment methods depending on your country.
- Will I receive an invoice?
- Yes. Paddle automatically provides invoices and receipts for all transactions. You'll receive them by email after each payment.
