hosted.md Dev Update: Beta Launch Tomorrow 🚀

We’re excited to share that hosted.md will officially be ready for beta testing tomorrow, Wednesday 6th August. If you've been following along as we build this thing in public, this is the moment we've been working toward.

You’ll be able to build and manage your site directly in the browser using our built-in editor. It includes a files and folders view that lets you create and organise your pages in a way that actually makes sense. Markdown editing, real-time previews and draft support are all part of the experience from day one.

Right now, there's a single theme available, but it's flexible enough to get you up and running with a clean, readable blog or documentation site. You can also tweak a few design elements to make it feel more like yours. Theme and template customisation is basic for now, but more options are on the way soon.

Support for custom domains is in the pipeline, so you won’t be tied to a subdomain forever. We're also working on an asset manager to make handling images and other uploads much easier. And while Git connections aren’t available yet, that feature is definitely on our roadmap.
